Who is Shelly Krasnow?
Shelly Krasnow was an electrical engineer who devoted his life to creating, researching, and developing products that can help improve medicine and science. He was known for his work in the Geophysical Instrument Company and began working specifically with the Geophysical Instrument.
In his later years, Krasnow devoted his life to developing areas of upcoming research fields. His dedication to continuous education and learning led to his motivation for developing an institute that benefits "mankind." With this in mind, the Krasnow Institute for Advanced Study was developed, focusing on Neuroscience Research.
Krasnow passed away in 1989, but his legacy lives on within the Krasnow Institute, where many students at George Mason University can contribute to the development, experimentation, and understanding of Neuroscience.
