The Resolution
Description
At the 1956 General Assembly Session, representatives from the Northern Virginia Delegation brought forth their case to submit a resolution creating a Northern Virginia branch of the University of Virginia. The bill was passed in both the House and Senate, allowing Northern Virginia the legal authority to build a permanent college.
