Conclusion
The Demosophia room at GMU was a passion project of Warfield's, designed as a space uniquely built for scholars to engage with technology in order to tackle complex management issues. The room's design was simple, with the intention of shifting focus to the in-depth analysis at hand (see the Core Theme page for a reference image). Although the Demosophia project is not well known today, Warfield's legacy lives on through the culture and curriculum of GMU's business school, and through the many students and faculty inspired by Warfield's lifelong commitment to scholarship and innovation. Furthermore, Warfield's desire to understand and harness the power of technology to analyze complex systems has had a lasting impact on the Mason business community. Specifically, Warfield's work was an important part of the movement to prioritize teaching business students how to utilize technology and high-level systems analysis to tackle complex problems in management and other fields of business.
