This exhibit has shown some of the changes in the faculty diversity, issues and disparity at George Mason University. We talked about how Lorraine Brown helped to impact the university, as well as Eugenie V. Mielczarek and Vanessa Blair-Lewis. There was also the Student and Faculty Revolt of 1965, with 6 faculty memebers resigning. We included items that show snippets from the University yearbooks over the years throught the 60's, 70's, and into the 80's. There were definitely changes throughout the years, but it still took time to see more women in leadership roles. We know that there are women that we missed, and there are years that we couldn't find data, at least in the area's that we could find to look for data in. As was shown, in the earlier years, the women were mainly regulated to the assistant roles, and not really any leadership roles, and then slowly started getting into leadership roles, trickling up from the lower leadership roles into higher up leadership roles.
