Two financial football issues on the table are whether or not the team will be scholarship or non scholarship, and whether or not students would be willing to pay increased fees for football.

An article questioning adding a football team, in terms of making it a scholarship or non-scholarship team. It also discusses a survey put out to students and faculty asking about how much they would pay in increased fees for a football team, and the concern that students wouldn't pay the current estimated amount.
