In the 1960s Chancellor Thompson prepared for the expansion of George Mason College. The College was constantly growing and would soon need to expand. in The 1968 education plan, the necessary steps to expand were addressed in order to become a thriving research and instruction institution. This is an image of chancellor Thompson, the man who helped create some of these ideas. the Chancellor can be seen in the middle of this image
